There is an ok coffee shop right next to the building where I work. It is all too easy to hop over and spend $2-4 on coffee that has a 50% chance of being good.
After I realized that I was spending $10 a week and still having to drink burnt coffee I decided something had to change. Drinking the communal coffee was out of the question. They don't put enough grounds in and of there is any left at 2pm it's not fresh
I decided to try a french press at work. The press cost $18. The bag of grounds was $8. I already had a mug I could boil water in the microwave in.
It costs me $8 a month to have the best coffee in the world. There is nothing like having this coffee on a long day.
