"The Radiator"- The Texas Tech Library

One of the more distinct buildings on the Texas Tech Campus (and probably one of the most distinct in Lubbock) is the the Texas Tech Library.  The building is affectionately nicknamed "The Radiator", because of the sides which were originally suppose to look like books on a shelf but for most people they look more like the pipes of a radiator.

On the right of the photo, you can just barely see the Sun Sphere, which has bells in it that you ring from both sides.  If you ring both the bells at once, it is suppose to make a sound that resembles the sound of the sun.
